Chelsea Fans Compare £25M New Signing to Ronaldinho and Hazard

Chelsea fans are buzzing with excitement after Jadon Sancho impressed in his first training session with the Blues, drawing comparisons to football legends Ronaldinho and Eden Hazard according to Goal.

The English winger, who recently joined Chelsea on a season-long loan from Manchester United, has sparked optimism among fans who believe he could revive his career at Stamford Bridge.

Sancho's move to Chelsea was completed on August 30, the final day of the transfer deadline, in a deal that included a commitment from the London club to acquire Sancho on a permanent basis next summer for a fee of up to £25 million (approximately €32 million).

After a tough time at Manchester United where he barely lived up to expectations, the 24-year-old is now hoping to start a new chapter and make his mark in West London.

Chelsea fans got a glimpse of Sancho's talents in his first training session under head coach Enzo Maresca. The winger's skills on the pitch quickly drew attention, with fans taking to social media to express their joy and hope for what he would bring to the team.

One fan, @SM13_CFC, was quick to praise the transfer, tweeting "Thank God for saving him from that grave," referring to Sancho's difficult time at Manchester United.

Another fan, @IcedOutPalmer, was even more enthusiastic, declaring, "We have our own Ronaldinho," referring to the Brazilian legend known for his talent and creativity.

The excitement didn't just stop on Twitter. On Instagram, user feroze17 commented on a video of Sancho's training session, saying, "He's going to be a star here! ðµð¥ Can't wait for his debut!"

maxwell__uko echoed this sentiment, adding, "If Sancho scores against Manchester United, I'll be there too."

One of the most interesting comparisons came from Instagram user kellychris_10, who said: ðð” Either I'm crazy or I just miss Hazard, hey man, nglðð.

The former Chelsea star was known for his ability to leap over defenders with ease, and Sancho's early performances have given fans reason to dream of similar brilliance.

Sancho's move to Chelsea marks a significant opportunity for the winger to re-establish his career after a disappointing performance at Manchester United.

Since joining United for £73 million (around $95.7 million) from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, Sancho has managed just 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances.

His difficulties were further exacerbated by a strained relationship with United manager Erik ten Hag, which ultimately led to his departure.

Now, having started afresh at Chelsea, Sancho is eager to prove himself and his reputation as one of England's brightest talents. In addition to his club ambitions, Sancho is also aiming to return to the England national team in time for the 2026 World Cup.

His performances for Chelsea could play a key role in determining his international future.

Sancho's first opportunity to showcase his skills in a competitive Chelsea match could come after the international break.

The Blues face Bournemouth away on September 14 before taking on West Ham a week later.

Fans will be eagerly awaiting his debut and hoping the winger can make an immediate impact.
