The 28th edition of CAF annual football awards schedule to be host on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 at Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, Egypt.
According to cafonline, “the award winners for each category will be announced during the CAF Awards ceremony on Tuesday, 7 January 2020, at the Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, Egypt. The event will celebrate African footballers and officials who have distinguished themselves during 2019.”
The Score Nigeria reports, The 2019 edition of CAF awards mark it 28th time the African Footballers and Officials will be celebrated and to honour the players and officials with awards that have performed very well through out the year.
The CAF awards kick-off by 16:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 7 January, starting with Red Carpet, welcome the Africans Legends and Officials to the event.
The award winners for each category will be announced during the CAF Awards ceremony on Tuesday, 7 January 2020.

History of CAF Awards
Arsenal and Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang become the only Gabonese player to win the African Player of the Year Awards in 2015. Aubameyang also make the Africa Best XI for 2019, he as well makes the top 10 shortlist for the CAF awards and later missed out of the final list.
