Portuguese and Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo break Guinness Book of records after the 34-year-old become the first person to reach 200 Million Instagram followers.

Cristiano Ronaldo have total 201.7m Followers, 434 Following, 2758 Posts on Instagram including photos and videos from Cristiano Ronaldo (@cristiano).

After being crowned Instagram’s highest earner late last year, footballing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has now become the first person in the world to break the 200 million follower threshold on the popular social media platform.

The 34-year-old Portuguese superstar’s account is second on the list of most followed accounts on the photo-sharing platform, though first place is occupied by the official Instagram company. Ronaldo, who currently plays for Serie A giants Juventus, sits ahead of third place’s Ariana Grande (173 million followers) and fourth place’s Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (3 million followers), and is currently 59 million followers ahead of football rival Lionel Messi who has 141 million.

To celebrate the major milestone, Ronaldo shared a video post to thank his loyal followers stating, “Wow 200 million!!!
