Europa League football for 2021/22 Season has been complete with the 32 teams already known their opponents in the group.
The 2021/22 UEFA Europa League knockout round play-off draw takes place on 13 December.
The draw will be made on 13 December at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
The draw features 16 teams:
• Eight runners-up from the UEFA Europa League group stage
• Eight third-placed teams from the UEFA Champions League group stage
How the draw works
• The runners-up are seeded above the teams that finish third in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
• UEFA Europa League group stage runners-up must be drawn against the teams that finish third in the UEFA Champions League group stage. The runners-up in the UEFA Europa League group stage play the second leg at home.
• Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.
• The balls containing the names of the seeded teams are placed in one bowl and the balls containing the names of the unseeded teams are put into another bowl. One ball is taken from each bowl and placed in a large empty bowl in the middle, where they are shuffled. The first team drawn will start the tie at home.
