Leicester City vs Chelsea: Potential Chelsea lineup as key returns in blues starting XI

Blues head coach, Graham Potter has been handed three fresh injury concerns ahead of today’s English Premier League clash against Brendan Rodgers Foxes at the King Power Stadium.

Reece James is expected to miss out owing to illness, while Raheem Sterling who played in Chelsea progress to the quarterfinals is a doubt alongside Ex-Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, both are nursing hamstring and back issues respectively with Mason Mount still unavailable due to sore abdominals.

But the Englishman could be cleared to return to the first team fold, this afternoon clash will come too early for French World Cup Winner, N’Golo Kante, while Thiago Silva, Edouard Mendy, Armando Broja will remain sidelined with long term injury issues.

For Cesar Azpilicueta it remains unclear whether he will travel with the rest of the group to Leicester following his head injury, but we expect some changes in defence for the West Londoners.

After missing out of the UCL clash, Benoit Badiashile will come in for Benoit Badiashile and will be joined by Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana, while Ben Chilwell and Ruben Loftus-Cheek operate off the left and right wing.

Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic should continue as the first choice midfield combination, Mykhaylo Mudryk will come in for the injured Sterling alongside Joao Felix and Kai Havertz in the final third.
