Done deal: Pepe extends contract with Porto until 2024

Former Real Madrid defender Pepe has agreed a deal to play on beyond his 41st birthday as Porto captain. The 39-year-old is still a regular starting centre back at Porto, as they chase down rivals Benfica in their Primeira Liga title defence, after losing out at the Champions League last 16 stage. Porto have made the decision to agree a 12-month extension, with his previous deal expiring in June, as he looks set to play on for another season.

Koulibaly wants to join Juventus

Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly considering making a move out of the club next season according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Senegalese defender wants to return to Italy just one season after coming to the Premier League from Napoli and has held talks with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Chelsea to continue talks with Pochettino

Chelsea will continue to hold talks with Mauricio Pochettino over the manager joining the club in the summer as their new head coach according to Fabrizio Romano. The journalist in his column for Caughtoffside wrote, “Talks will continue for sure this week, Pochettino will discuss further details with Chelsea. So next days are going to be important. “Players are still waiting to know who’s going to be appointed as new coach; they just hope for some clarity as soon as possible, it’s normal.”
