CHE 0:1 NFO: Edouard Mendy And Two Other Worst Players For Chelsea In The First Half Of The Game

Chelsea were a goal down at halftime to Nottingham Forest despite obviously being the dominant side in the first half of the game. A brilliant header from Taiwo Awoniyi gave the away team the all-important advantage in the first period.

Well, let’s take a look at the three worst players for Chelsea in the first half of the game.

1. Edouard Mendy

The Senegalese International finally got his opportunity to mount the goalpost for Chelsea in today’s match against Nottingham Forest. The 30-year-old returned with an awful goalkeeping blunder which led to Nottingham Forest’s opening goal of the encounter against the Blues.

2. Conor Gallagher

The English International showed a bit of his inexperience in the first half of the game for Chelsea as he was very shaky and vulnerable defensively against Nottingham Forest. The 23-year-old also couldn’t make much impact on Chelsea’s performance going forward as he had a dull game of football in the first period.

3. Joao Felix

The Portuguese International was used as a center-forward for Chelsea in today’s match which isn’t his favourite position on the pitch. The 23-year-old really struggled to make his prese nce felt in the game for Chelsea as he had a very faint contribution to the team’s play offensively against Nottingham Forest.
