Conor Gallagher returned to Chelsea’s starting team in the English Premier League today when they travelled to face in-form Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. The English International came out with an impressive performance in the encounter as he inspired Chelsea to a comfortable 3-1 victory over the home side.
Chelsea took the early lead in the 9th minute of the encounter when Conor Gallagher opened the scoring with a lovely header to put the Blues 1-0 in front against Bournemouth. Bournemouth responded well in the 21st minute of the game as MatÃas Viña curled the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal for Chelsea to make the scoreline level at halftime.
The Blues got back in front in the 82nd minute of the game as Benoit Badiashile slotted the ball home from Hakim Ziyech’s lofted pass to make the scoreline 2-1 in favour of Chelsea. Super sub Joao Felix scored the assurance goal for Chelsea in the final minutes of the game to make it a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at full-time.
Well, Conor Gallagher was back with an amazing performance for Chelsea in today’s game against Bournemouth. Apart from scoring a very crucial goal for Chelsea in the game, the English International also shows his immense work rate by assisting the Blues heavily both defensively and offensively. The 23-year-old was named the man of the match after arguably being Chelsea’s best player on the pitch today.
