Recall that a while ago, The Blues locked horns with Fulham United in their last game of the Premier League Summer Series and it was a good outing for them as they won the game 2-0.
Brazilian Defender, Thiago Silva opened the scoreline for Chelsea just 20 minutes into the game and new signing, Christopher Nkunku doubled the lead 21 minutes later courtesy of a brilliant finish and that was all they needed to cling the trophy.
The Blues finished on top of the Premier League Summer Series table after winning two games and drawing one. After the match, the Premier League Giant were awarded the trophy and it was absolutely amazing. Click on the link below to watch the video clip.
The above video captured the moment when Thiago Silva and Reece James raised the trophy to celebrate it together with the rest of their teammates, they seem really excited judging from the smile they wore on their faces. This is Mauricio Pochettino first silverware ever since taking charge of the club, although it might not be considered as a very important title because it’s a preseason friendly but this is definitely a huge boost for the team heading into the new season.
