Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest Saturday’s night wasn’t just disappointing because we lost to a team we should be beating at home, it was especially bad because we’ve seen the same type of performance so many times in recent years.
Asked what he can do, manager Mauricio Pochettino responded that “the only way to change this type of results is working hard and being positive.”
He’s not wrong – the problem is that we’ve heard exactly that line from every single manager we’ve had, and none of them have seemed able to actually make that stick.
