Chelsea remain positive in signing talented 26-year-old winger in January

Welcome to the latest transfer news, rumours, gossip, and update as Chelsea football club remain positive after linking to their targets as manager Mauricio Pochettino looks for way to bolster the squad in the January transfer window

Chelsea doesn't joke with acquiring players who are ready to deliver and help the team in the title race this season. Chelsea signed Romeo Lavia during the summer transfer but yet to make their debut due to injury worries as he is hopeful for a full return after the international break, Chelsea will play Newcastle in the premier league

Do remember that the West London club were very active during the summer transfer window as they completed the signings of Nicolas Jackson, Robert Sanchez, Christopher Nkunku and a few others.

Chelsea football club failed to sign a new right-winger as they remain committed to the development of Noni Madueke. However, Noni Madueke has struggled to hit the ground running so far this season and Chelsea are now on the lookout for a new winger.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club have been linked with a move for experienced Barcelona winger Raphinha when the transfer window opens.

The 26-year-old Brazil International, who signed up for Barcelona football club after departing Leeds United back in 2022 has been in and out of the first-team squad in recent matches.

The experienced right-winger was hugely influential for Barcelona during the 2022/2023 season where he scored 10 goals and created 12 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.

Raphinha has also been quite involved so far this ongoing season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 11 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona football club.

His excellent performances on the wings are believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea and according to the latest reports from The Sun, the Premier League side has reignited their interest in signing him.

The reports further claimed that Premier League side Chelsea football club are set to try again for Raphinha after missing out on the experienced right-winger back in 2022.

It is believed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino needs a new right-winger to compete with Noni Madueke in that position and he has now identified Raphinha as a needed addition to his squad.

But with Newcastle United also interested in the experienced winger, it remains to be seen where Raphinha will choose to continue his football career if he gets to leave Barcelona football club next year.
