Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer score again former team Man City

Former Man City players Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling were at the centre of the story against their old club, and if anything they were more of the story by the end.

They were our two key men in the game – Sterling putting City on the back foot with his dribbling, while Palmer’s passing cut them apart.

In the end, Palmer was the man who had the biggest role in the game – slotting the penalty to win it. That won him the man of the match award from Sky, awarded by Sterling.

It was great to see the smiles on both faces as they chatted to the Sky Sports cameras after the game. This is what real chemistry looks like!

You can see the pair of them speaking in the clip embedded here:

"It was another great game for us."

Having them settled in to their places on either wing is really helping the team, and even seems to be helping Nicolas Jackson as he starts to learn their movements and build his own chemistry with the wide men.
