Chelsea injury update after 1-0 win over Fulham at Stamford bridge

 Chelsea have missed some of their best players this season. Top players including the likes of Romeo Lavia, Reece James and Ben Chilwell have been struggling to remain fit since the start of the season. They are currently out injured and unavailable for selection.


 

Chelsea's £58million signing Romeo Lavia got injured on his club debut against Crystal Palace having spent four months on the sidelines with a separate ankle issue.

Lavia spent 32 minutes on the pitch during Chelsea's 2-1 win over the Eagles at Stamford Bridge. Lavia picked up an injury in his first arrival to Chelsea and had to wait before joining the first team squad. He's currently out on thigh injury and has missed 17 games this season.

Wesley Fofana and Trevor Chalobah have both missed 20 games this season. They are among the best defenders in the premier league and their absence have dealt a huge blow to Chelsea's defence.


 

Carney Chukwuemeka and Lavia have both missed 17 matches this season. Their presence in Chelsea's squad would have made a big difference.

Reece James, Lesley Ugochukwu, Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella are all out injured.

Christopher Nkunku yet to features in three matches for Chelsea due to injury as Pochettino yet to give update about the French international absences from the blues squad in both Carabao cup, Fa cup and today premier league game against Fulham.
