 Chelsea are close to signing 'Messinho this January transfer as negotiations have reach next stage

Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of signing one of the most exciting talents in South America, Estevao Willian 'Messinho'. The 18-year-old winger has been dubbed as the 'new Messi' for his dazzling skills and goalscoring ability. According to @sport, Chelsea executives have travelled to Brazil to finalize the deal and trigger his €60m release clause from his club, Flamengo.

OFFICIAL: Man Utd Striker Leaves Club

 

Manchester United have confirmed that young striker Joe Hugill has joined Burton Albion on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old, who scored 16 goals in 20 games for the U23s this season, will gain valuable first-team experience in League One. Hugill is highly rated by the Red Devils and signed a new contract in November.

• Al-Hilal in advanced talks with Marseille for Renan Lodi

Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are close to signing Brazilian left-back Renan Lodi from Marseille. The 23-year-old, who joined the French side from Atletico Madrid in the summer, has struggled to adapt to Ligue 1 and is keen on a move away. @MatteMoretto reports that Al-Hilal are willing to pay around €20m for Lodi, who has also attracted interest from Arsenal and Juventus. Marseille are set to sign Scottish youngster Josh Doig as his replacement.

 

• Benfica and Man United still negotiating for Álvaro Fernández

Benfica are in talks with Manchester United to sign Spanish defender Álvaro Fernández. The 20-year-old, who can play as a left-back or a centre-back, has impressed for the U23s this season and has attracted interest from several European clubs. @FabrizioRomano claims that personal terms are 100% agreed, but the two clubs are still discussing the formula of the deal. It might no longer be a permanent transfer, but a loan with an option to buy.

• West Ham have no interest in re-signing Jesse Lingard

West Ham have ruled out a move for Jesse Lingard, who is available on a free transfer at the end of the season. The 31-year-old midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at the Hammers, scoring nine goals in 16 games and earning a recall to the England squad. However, according to Evening Standard, West Ham have zero interest in re-signing Lingard, who has fallen out of favour at Manchester United and has not played a single minute in the Premier League this season.
