Shalom Microfinance Bank, established in 2016 is an indigenous financial institution set up to provide financial services to Individuals, Entrepreneurs, and Businesses in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) category. We have a team of seasoned professionals with 10-15 years of experience in Banking, Strategy, Customer Experience, and Risk Management relevant to our Business environment.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:


1.) Marketing Trainee


Location: Lagos


Job Description


Sourcing of customers to access the bank’s products and services.

Building and maintaining relationships with clients.

Booking of loans and ensuring repayment.

Job Requirements

The successful candidates must have the following

Minimum qualification: National Diploma

0-1 year experience

Excellent Sales, Interpersonal, and Communication skills,

Ability to work both independently and in a team

Must be smart, willing to learn, and conversant with markets on the Island

Age: Not above 26 years old

2.) Relationship Manager

Location: Lagos.

Qualifications Required


Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University; MCIB Certification will be an added advantage

2-3 years of experience in a similar role

Relevant Skills / Experience:


Excellent analytical and time management skills

Good knowledge of the Microfinance industry with an excellent record of marketing and closing sales of banking products

Must have a healthy portfolio in FMCG and structured organizations

Excellent experience in credit/risk analysis in a successful MFB.


Salary

N150,000 – 300,000 (Still negotiable in line with the candidate’s offering)

3.) Fincon Officer / Credit Admin (Chartered Accountant)

Location: Lagos


Job Description 

Managing all finance and accounting operations of the bank.

Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

Preparing and publishing timely monthly management Account

Driving the company’s financial planning

Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments

Deciding on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.

Ensuring timely preparation and rendition of all regulatory report

Research technical accounting issues for compliance

Support month-end and year-end close process

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Ensure Daily reconciliation of all accounts with the correspondent bank.

Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies during their examination.

Additional controller duties as necessary

Requirements

Education and Experience:
