Fernandes will undergo a medical at United’s AON Training Complex before putting pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal to complete his switch from Sporting Lisbon.
United will pay an initial £46.6million then with two further add-on payments of £8.5m and £12.7m which is a clause.
The total package will be sum of to £67.8m for the 25 years old.
He is due to complete the transfer on Wednesday with paper work ready to make him feature in Manchester United match against Wolves on Saturday at old Trafford.
