Neymar Weep Bitterly After Watching Nigeria 4-3 Brazil in Atlanta 96 Semi-Finals

Paris Saint Germain and Brazilian star Neymar has finally break silent and revealed how he broke down into tears after watching Atlanta 1996 semi-finals as Nigeria came from behind to defeated Samba Boys of Brazil 4-3 to earned finals ticket.

The 28-year-old PSG star narrated how he broke down into tears after watching the highlights of Atlanta 96 between Nigeria Super Eagles and the Samba Boys of Brazil.

“It’s a terrific moment — not just for me (Neymar), but for the entire country. Brazil, somehow, had never won a gold medal in Olympic men’s soccer, and here is a chance to make history as Brazil met Nigeria in the semifinals. Samba Boys underrated Super Eagles’ side and they taught them a great lesson of their life that game makes me cry every time I watch the highlights, I can’t even imagine that Nigeria can defeat Brazil semifinal, 4-3, back in 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. That game, remember, was also in Brazil and considered a national embarrassment.”

“The pressure on the Brazilian soccer players was enormous, and nobody felt that more than me (Neymar).”

It was great a victory for Nigeria after they came back from 3-1 down, to beat Brazil 4-3 in the semifinals of Atlanta 96, great goals from Kanu Nwankwo who scored two goals in that game. It was a golden goal rule that saw Nigeria through then.
