Pochettino to start 19-year-old key player against Liverpool

Chelsea are back in Premier League action against Liverpool on Sunday at the Stamford Bridge stadium

The league season stared again on Friday evening, with a bunch more games being played on Saturday. But Chelsea fans have to wait until tomorrow at 4.30pm UK time to watch their Blues back in action again, and they welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge.

It’s going to be a very tough opening game for Mauricio Pochettino to begin his Chelsea reign, facing Jugen Klopp’s ambitious Liverpool side. But Pochettino will be looking and hoping to get off to the best possible start in his first competitive game in charge.

So what sort of starting Xl will he go for?

Let’s have a look at our predicted Xl here:

(4-2-3-1): Sanchez, James, Silva, Colwill, Chilwell; Fernandez, Gallagher; Mudryk, Chukwuemeka, Sterling; Jackson.

Chelsea are missing a few with injuries so therefore 19-year-old Carney Chukwuemeka is highly likely to get the nod, and new signing Christopher Nkunku will also get the nod up top, after joining for more than £30.1m (per Sky Sports) this summer.
