Chelsea to sign world class player to pair him with Nkunku

Chelsea haven’t had a great start to the 2023/24 season but there are certainly some building blocks to work with. Firstly, this is a young Chelsea side and they are coached by one of the greatest young tactical minds in the world. Mauricio Pochettino is confident about his long-term vision with the club, and the board have plenty of reasons to trust him.

Thinking about the future already, Mauricio Pochettino has plans to pull off a crazy transfer. Indeed, the Argentine boss is already thinking about signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

The Nigerian striker is one of the best players in the world and he’s a proven goal machine. Having set the world alight and handing Napoli a major honour in the Serie A title, things look bleak for him at the moment.

Through no fault of his own, the club posted a video to their official social media account which mocked Osimhen. To which, the striker’s legal team wish to take action against the club, which more than likely means he hopes to achieve a transfer elsewhere.

Chelsea “monitor” the situation of Victor Osimhen at Napoli
According to a report from talkSPORT, Chelsea are “monitoring” the situation of Osimhen and could swoop in to take advantage of it should things escalate. Indeed, they have been interested in Osimhen for a long time, pursuing him to no great affect in the summer transfer window.

Mauricio Pochettino is awaiting the return of Christopher Nkunku from injury since he showed great promise in pre-season. Nicolas Jackson is frankly woeful when it comes to end product, so the long-term vision is likely to partner Osimhen and Nkunku, for an essentially bullet proof strike partnership.

Do you think Chelsea will sign Victor Osimhen?
