Ukraine retained their hopes of qualification for Euro 2024 by securing a victory this weekend.
Heorhiy Sudakov and Oleksandr Karavayev were both on the scoresheet for the Ukrainians, who are competing against the likes of England and Italy in their tough qualifying group.
Mykhailo Mudryk, who started on the left wing today, played most of the contest before a late substitution off the field.
The 22-year-old Chelsea winger showed a few eye-catching moments on the ball, which we’ve become used to seeing when he’s in possession. His close control and dribbling is a big part of his game.
However, he did see one huge opportunity to score denied when 1v1 inside the penalty box, with the goalkeeper making a smart save.
