 Chelsea battle Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool for the January transfer target of Nice defender, Jean-Clair Todibo as perfect replacement for Thiago Silva.

Tottenham Hotspur are desperate for defensive reinforcements and are ready to rival Manchester United and Liverpool for France international Todibo.

The 23-year-old has impressed in a Nice side challenging Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 and is said to be available for around £39million.

Spurs have made a new centre-back their top priority in January but they are expected to face competition from some of the best clubs in Europe for Todibo.

Man United are now looking to revamp their defense at the end of the season and The Sun claims they have accelerated their efforts to sign Todibo and Inacio after identifying them as prime targets.

Sun Sports reports that United’s new potential investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe has authorised the sale of Varane in what is perceived to be a squad overhaul. The 30-year-old is attracting interest from Bavarian giants, Bayern Munich who are closely following his situation at United.

Liverpool also in the race for Nice star, Todibo in January as he got interest from top Premier League club .

Klopp is looking for a way to reinforce Reds defense option in January by signing Nice defender Todibo as they challenge Tottenham, Man United and Chelsea.


Mauricio Pochettino believes that Thiago Silva is getting older and his contract will expire soon so they have joined race for the January transfer target to sign Nice star defender, Jean-Clair Todibo ahead of Man United, Liverpool and Spurs.

The Blues have the likes of Levil Colwill, Disasi, and Badiashile but they want Thiago Silva's replacement which is the reason Chelsea links with Todibo.

It was rumoured that Badiashile could leave in January as well other four players but they yet to make their final decision about Stamford Bridge departure.
