Chelsea receive greenlight to complete signing of 24-year-old World-class player

Chelsea will most definitely remain keen on securing a top four finish on the Premier League table under the management of Mauricio Pochettino this season.

The West London club have endured a rather disappointing start to the 2023/2024 football season and are currently occupying the 10th position on the Premier League table so far.

Due to their poor run of form, Chelsea football club are very much aware of the need to further strengthen their attacking options by signing a new striker when the January transfer window opens.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club remain interested in bringing prolific Napoli centre-forward Victor Osimhen to the Stamford Bridge next year.

The 24-year-old Nigeria International, who has been with Napoli football club over the past three years has proven to be an important member of the first-team squad so far.

Victor Osimhen played a huge role for Napoli as they won the Serie A trophy during the 2022/2023 season. He scored 31 goals and created five assists to help the Italian side.

The prolific striker has also continued with his impressive performances so far this 2023/2024 season, having already scored six goals and registered two assists in 11 appearances in all competitions.

His excellent performances has kept him on the books of Chelsea football club and according to reports from The Sun, the Premier League side are making moves to sign him next year.

The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club are really interested in Victor Osimhen and they have now been given the go-ahead to complete a move for the striker when the window opens.

It is said that Serie A side Napoli football club are willing to let Victor Osimhen join Chelsea football club in January 2024 if the Blues are ready to pay their asking price of £120million.

But then, it remains to be seen if Chelsea football club will be able to part with such huge transfer fee to complete the signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli when the transfer window opens.
