The Premier League begins this weekend, and Chelsea will be playing their second challenging stretch of games against Newcastle United.
But under Mauricio Pochettino, the Blues seem to be settling nicely after a sluggish start. The thrilling 4–4 tie with Manchester City before to the international break showed more encouraging signals, even though the 4–1 victory over Tottenham was probably not quite convincing.
Enhancing their performance against the most difficult challenges appears to be a recurring theme for Pochettino's Chelsea, who have taken down Liverpool and Arsenal this year.
