Transfer News Live: Chelsea Interested to Sign Argentina star player

 Ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window, Chelsea football club will most definitely remain keen on further strengthening their attacking options under the management of Mauricio Pochettino.


The West London club have endured a very disappointing start to the ongoing 2023/2024 season and are currently occupying the 10th position on the Premier League table.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club have been linked with a move for highly-rated River Plate centre-forward Agustin Ruberto when the transfer window opens.

 

The 17-year-old Argentina International, who gained promotion to Argentine side River Plate youth squad earlier this year has been an important member of the team so far.

The highly-rated striker was part of the the Argentina U-17 squad that reached the semi-finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup where he also won the golden boot for being the highest goalscorer.

Agustin Ruberto was hugely influential for Argentina U-17 during the U-17 World Cup where he scored a total of eight goals to help his side to the semi-finals of the competition.

His excellent performances in front of goal has caught the attention of a number of clubs and according to reports from Transfer News Live, Chelsea football club are also in the race.

 

The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club are really interested in Agustin Ruberto and have added the young striker to their list of transfer targets next year.

It is believed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants a new striker and the Blues will make a move for the young Agustin Ruberto who will turn 18 years of age in January.

But then, it remains to be seen if the young Agustin Ruberto will choose to continue his developments at River Plate or he will be interested in a move to join Chelsea football club when the transfer window opens next year.
