The 20-year-old Slovenia International, who signed up for Red Bull Leipzig after departing RB Salzburg back in 2023 has proven to be one of the best young strikers in the world of football.
The highly-rated striker has been quite influential for Red Bull Leipzig since the start of the 2023/2024 season, scoring a total of eight goals in 25 appearances in all competitions so far.
His excellent performances in front of goal for RB Leipzig is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea and according to reports from The Sun, the Blues are keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Chelsea football club are really interested in Benjamin Sesko and could make a move to sign him as he is just available for £43million transfer fee.
It is believed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to add more firepower to his options in attack and he could turn towards signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
But with several other clubs looking to take advantage of his £43million release clause, it remains to be seen if Chelsea football club will move swiftly to secure a deal with RB Leipzig and sign Benjamin Sesko this year.
