Carabao Cup have announced their player of the semi-finals today and the winner is Cole Palmer due to his beautiful performance against Middlesbrough on both legs.
Palmer in the first leg had a terrible game as he failed to find the back of the net from the three chances he saw. Middlesbrough won that game by 1-0. Palmer bounced back in the return leg at Stamford Bridge where he scored a brace as Chelsea won the game by 6-1. The win remains Chelsea's biggest win this season.
Chelsea will play Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final this month and the game will be tough because Chelsea recently lost by 4-1 to Jurgen Klopp's men in the Premier League. The blues will be aiming for revenge.
However, Cole Palmer has been named as Carabao Cup player of the round for the semi-finals. This award will encourage him to keep performing at the top level.
