Chelsea found potential replacement for Victor Osimhen

Ahead of their summer major transformation, Chelsea is reportedly considering the £86 million-rated Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres as an alternative for Victor Osimhen of Napoli.

Victor Osimhen's goal-scoring ability reached new heights in the previous campaign, as seen by his 26 league goals, which earned him both the Serie A golden boot and the CAF Player of the Year award.

The 25-year-old Nigerian forward's form has suffered this season due to injury, but he still has a respectable 13 goals in 24 outings for Napoli across all club competitions.

Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres is creating waves in Portugal with his 50 goal contributions in just 39 games, to the point where the national team's coach, Jon Dahl Tomasson, is being prompted to play Newcastle striker Alessandra Isak out wide.

Chelsea scouts were present to witness Sweden's Viktor Gyökeres play in their crushing 5-2 loss to Bruno Fernandes' Portugal on Thursday night, according to The Daily Mail.

In the seventy minutes of play at the Estadio Dom Alfonso Henriques in Portugal, the Sporting Lisbon striker opened the goal despite Jon Dahl Tomasson's team suffering a crushing defeat.
