I wear my makeup, to show we are females and stylish - Francisca Ordega

Nigerian International Francisca Ordega has revealed that she wear makeup, to show they are females and stylish just to be fashionable when stepping into the pitch.

The 26-year-old has caught the eye of many with display and dazzling look on the field.

Ordega who came through the youth ranks has four African Women Championship titles to her credit and two appearance at the senior women World Cup.

The Shanghai Shenhua striker disclosed this while speaking to brila

“I look my best when stepping on to the pitch because we as footballers are entertainers. It’s why I wear my makeup, to show we are females and stylish.” She said.

Since leaving Rivers Angel after her good display at the 2012 FIFA U20 Women World Cup, Ordega had short stincts with Rossiyanka and Piteå IF of Russia and Sweden respectively. She earned a big move to National Women’s Soccer League side Washington Spirit in 2015 scoring 9 goals in 41 appearances.

After just a year in America, she was sent on loan twice to Sydney FC and Atletico Madrid before making a permanent move to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in 2019.
