Ahmed Musa Sets For England Loan Move From Saudi Arabia

Nigeria Super Eagles’s captian Ahmed Musa has informed his Saudi Arabia side Al-Nassr of his intention to leave the club this summer.

The 27-year-old has a two more years to run on his deal with the Saudi Arabia outfit but an unhappy season at the club where he clashed with the fans has made him push to call it quit with the team he joined after excelling for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Musa have been proposed to some teams in England and talks are progressing nicely with a loan deal the option been discussed and Al Nassr won’t be opposed to seeing the player leave after a season where he didn’t meet up to his level.

He didn’t score in the 17 games he played in the league and in 22 games in all competitions he only scored twice and that came in the King’s Cup where he played four games. A return which was partially down to injuries and several fitness issues.

A deal to Turkish side Galatasaray is still in the works but the former Leicester City forward is waiting for a response from teams in England as he bids to return back to the country where his family are based.
