There has been a lot of mixed reactions from the Barcelona player when they returned and had their first training after coronavirus pandemic put a halt to football globally. La Liga is set for a possible resumption as clubs called back plyers to retutn to training.
Barcelona returned to training after a long-term break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Antoine Griezmann, Arturo Vidal, and others all made a return to the Joan Gamper training complex on Friday after they all passed negative for COVID-19 in tests conducted on Wednesday.
After the training was concluded, players express their joy as they returned to the pitch after a long break.
“We’re finally returning to normality, we hope to move forward and that soon we can once again enjoy what we like most,” Arturo Vidal explained.
The former Juventus and Bayern Munich midfielder hasn’t been the only senior star to show his excitement for training commencement again, with Brazil international, Arthur Melo taking to social media.
“Back to the pitch with a lot of desire to work, thanks to the staff that makes this possible,” Arthur added.
Luis Suarez, on the other hand, was supposed to miss the rest of the 2019/20 season through injury, yet the former Liverpool forward may now return in time for Barcelona’s title run-in as a result.
“How nice it is to come back,” Suarez posted on his official social media platform.
