Chelsea were completely blown away tonight on their visit to Anfield to play Liverpool.
The Blues were thrashed 4-1 by Liverpool on Wednesday evening in the Premier League clash, which isn’t a good sign ahead of a meeting between the teams in next month’s League Cup final.
Despite another real setback for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, Chelsea defender Malo Gusto did receive some praise from supporters on social media.
It was a pretty disheartening midweek result for Chelsea. However, some positive substitutions did give a glimmer of hope to any optimistic sections of the fanbase.

A selection of Chelsea fans agreed that Gusto was a rare positive on a shocking night.
The 20-year-old right-back was back in the squad tonight after a recent injury, taking his place on the bench.
He entered the action as a half-time substitute and put in a very solid 45 minute contribution in the second-half. This included a fantastic cross to set up Mykhailo Mudryk opportunity to score which was ultimately wasted.

Hopefully, the French full-back can now stay fit and get an extended run in the line-up.
