Former Man United defender, Vidic reveals toughest he played against

Former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic had revealed the most difficult and toughest player he had ever played against in his career. The Serbian claimed Didier Drogba was the player who tormented him more during Premier League clashes between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Vidic, who was named Premier League player of the season twice due to his impressive performance and technical ability, claimed Drogba was always on the defender for the full 90 minutes of the game, and he was physically the hardest player, but Sergio Kun Aguero and Luis Suarez were the best.

Vidic won five Premier League titles and the Champions League title in 2008 against Chelsea, where Didier Drogba was sent off. The former Chelsea striker returned in 2012 to win the Champions League after Chelsea won a penalty.

In previous interviews, Vidic revealed Didier Drogba wanted to punch him during the fierce encounter in the 2008 Champions League final in Moscow. This was due to the fact that Drogba got frustrated by Vidic energy in the final.
